Job Summary Job Summary:-
  • Establish and continuously improve a consistent compliance framework for the identification, management, monitoring and reporting of Compliance risks and issues.
  • Eye for detail and expertise in performing banking compliance functions, advisory and testing.
  • Understanding of Regulatory laws, regulatory strategies especially in the areas of Retail Forex & Loans in the Treasury Compliance.
  • Adequate exposure to the Compliance Monitoring and Testing framework and implementation
Experience in KYC and AML related areas not preferred

1. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial / Business

  • Continuously improve a consistent compliance framework for the identification, management, monitoring and reporting of Compliance risks and issues.
  • Identification and prioritization of compliance issues. Adherence to policies, procedures, processes, checklists, controls and inputs for training programs
  • Assist in the Implementation of compliance plans in developing risk registers covering various activities of the bank
  • Assist with the compliance risk assessment process ensuring that the compliance risks are appropriately identified and assessed
  • Adequate exposure to the Compliance Monitoring and Testing framework and implementation

Customer

  • Communicating with regulators and assisting with regulatory enquiries and inspections
  • Handling compliance monitoring tools and supportbranches & various units of the Bank to promote the Compliance culture
  • Provide functional support to internal departments in areas of compliance with regulatory bodies, dissemination of circulars issued by regulators etc

Internal Processes

  • Monitor the compliance at Department and Organisation level
  • Interpret data, perform fair and responsible banking analysis and validate results
  • Conduct compliance risk reviews and provide guidance for risk assessment in various business areas and evaluate effectiveness of internal control system. Testing, monitoring and investigations related to banking compliance
  • Review of new / modifications of products and processes

Learning & Performance

  • Keep updated with the best practices of compliance and governance frameworks, methodologies and emerging practice, compliance monitoring and risk assessments
  • Train personnel to ensure that they understand their responsibilities in complying with regulations. Provide compliance monitoring trainings to relevant Department and other nodal officers in departments
  • Keep abreast of the latest changes, if any, in the regulatory environment pertaining to the SFBs
  • Monitoring and Testing capabilities for all Business, Support and Control functions.
