The function supports both very strategic & operational QSE tasks, leads towards achieving the QSE goals and targets, as well as directs the Global Management System and its certification against ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.GDE- Global Development & Excellence is a global function under Global QSE with focus on growing Management systems, Advanced Quality, Six sigma & Continuous Improvement, Digital technology & tool and centralized operations. People are located in India & coordinate global activities collaborating with the regional QSE and all other cross functions across globe. This position is for Six Sigma & Continuous improvement at Chennai office. We are looking for QSE Specialist - Who will work across entire value chain, guiding & promoting continuous improvement global projectsResponsibilitiesLead & coordinate evolution, development & implementation of layered process audit at various manufacturing, construction site globally across different segments of business unitsEnsure consistency of Layered process audit development with Business leader, Functional head, Business Process Owners, Factory management & Production ManagersSystematically apply coaching techniques and tools to senior management of the site support managers and team members to effectively practice layered process auditAct as the change agent in the transformation of audit culture and provide support, guidance to operational teams and process owners (GPOs/CPOs)Collaborates with audit clients and action owners to provide root cause analysis (RCA) guidance and ensure effective corrective action plans (CAP) developmentCoordinate with the functions and unit quality team to roll out and implementation of processes & pilotingSupport factory/site management for implementation of audit actions, consolidation and reporting of itTrain personnel on Layered process and related topicsPerforms follow-up activity to verify effectiveness of implementation of Layered process auditQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical with min 15- years of experience in5 years hands on experience in deployment & implementation of layered process audit across5 years of experience in developing and conducting various quality audit plans, QMS, ISO,VDA etcExperience in directing strategic initiatives & continuous Improvement projectExperience in change management tools & processKnowledge of implementation and management of quality management systems (QMS)Min 3 Years of hands on experience in project management toolsKnowledge of or experience with six sigma or Lean methodology is desirableCompetenciesCapable of building good relationships with the functional Business leaders in order to effect changeSolid situational leadership skills to influence all levels of the organization (Senior leaders to operators)Inclusive collaborative team member with a positive attitude to work effectively within a diverse and creative cross functional teamProven mentoring and coaching abilities, proven ability to motivate & inspire othersleading continuous improvement actions with efficient portfolio and project managementSelf-starter to guide change and make independent and informed decisionsProfessional social and communication skillsGood stake holder & project management skills.High-quality planning and organizational skillsTraining development and deployment experiencepreferredGood methodical skills with ability to identify and explain critical issues.
