Job Summary
Project Manager- Water Business Project Planning & Execution
Reviews project proposal or plan to determine execution methodology, BOQ, time frame, finalize SOP, -Cash flow, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
Owns project schedule; responsible for conducting team meetings, delegating tasks, and managing project activities across multiple departments and functions
Ensures timely billing to client of all executed items by in house team or sub-contractors, payment from client, approval of extra items and variations, reconciliation of materials issued to sub-contractors. Budget Management
Owns project costs; Is responsible for managing change orders and tracking budget versus actuals Risk Management
Controls and manages the project risk register (related to cash, schedule, variation, extra items and quality) and communicates it to executive management regularly
Troubleshoots issues as they arise; evaluates alternatives and proposes solutions Stakeholder management Process Compliance Experience of implementation of 24 7 water supply project is preferable. Certification in Project Management will be desirable Should be able exercise business acumen and able to think strategically and creatively for timely execution of project Must have proven track record in executing projects on-time and should demonstrate urgency for time management and high quality decisions Obtains buy-in for ideas, initiatives and feedback positively Secures appropriate resources to drive change and drive execution of identified projects Able to set clear direction for success, demonstrates high energy and responsiveness Is comfortable balancing multiple projects while working under tight deadlines Demonstrates customer service mindset and drive excellence through Quality and lean methodologies Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills Utilizes available and relevant technical tools and resources Be flexible towards project location and work location Compliance of clients requirement, wherever it is mandatory.
