Job Summary

Responsibilities & Required Skills:

  • Provide sales with high-quality leads
  • Cold call (generate new suspects and prospects) from company provided lists and/or other sources:
    • Make 80 to 100 dials per day
    • Have 12 to 15 conversations with prospective clients per day
  • Educate prospective companies about the benefits of our technology solutions and services
  • Schedule First Time Appointments and follow-up appointments with existing prospects:
    • Set 3 to 5 solid qualified appointments per week and every week
  • Call existing prospects with regular follow-up to check in and see if an appointment for a demonstration can be scheduled
  • Complete a survey and collect business intelligence on each call and enter details the CRM database
  • Assist the leadership team with special projects and other marketing functions as directed
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Able to understand and communicate ideas well
  • Attention to detail with entering information into our prospect database accurately and quickly while simultaneously speaking with people
  • Technically inclined and computer savvy and can learn quickly
  • Self-motivated
  • Personable enough to build a report with prospective clients during the first phone call so that even if a prospective client is not interested, he/she will still accept follow-up calls in the future.
  • Ability to get through the Gate-Keeper and reach C-level Electives
  • A never-give-up attitude and an ability to identify and develop new sales openings as well as provide meaningfully and timely follow up
  • Ability to withstand rejection
  • Listening skills (Ability to understand what is being said and acknowledges it properly)
  • Basic understanding of the IT and Retail industry and problems faced by clients
  • Understanding of our technology offerings
  • Must have high-level of responsibility and personal ethics
  • Ability to work with various personality types
