Job Summary

Come join our growing Group Finance team in our Mumbai Centre of Excellence (CENX)!
The role reports to the Head of Finance for the CENX, who is based in London. The role is part of the Finance CENX Leadership Team.


This role offers significant variety and opportunities to both make an impact and learn. The role involves leading projects to improve the ways of working across the global Finance function alongside setting and running the governance and performance management for the Finance CENX. The role is exciting and visible as we look to improve YouGov s Finance capabilities, moving from regional teams to global ways of working and we establish our new CENX in Mumbai.


Line management of one Automation and Reporting Analyst
Lead finance change initiatives, bringing together people from across a global team to design and implement change, examples such as:
o Implementation of a solution for account reconciliations globally
o Manual journal rationalisation project
o Setting up mailbox management using Jira workflow
o Capacity and business continuity planning
o Implementing Internal Audit control recommendations for our processes
o Setting out the framework for our use of RPA and other automations
o Project Managing changes to our ERP System (NetSuite)
Create models and tracking for processes, helping us move towards quantitative understanding of how we perform as a team
Define and run governance for the CENX such as the Finance Process Performance Dashboard, SOP reviews, data governance etc
Write process documentation and reports to clarify the way processes are run and controlled
Influence and support the rest of the CENX LT, ensuring we deliver great outcomes for our stakeholders (CENX team members, Regional Finance Teams, YouGov s customers etc)


Knowledge and experience

Finance or change related qualification (Qualified accountant, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, systems related qualification) with 8 or more years of experience
Understanding of core Finance processes (e.g. P2P, O2C, R2R, Payroll)
Experienced on leading change and managing projects, communication is essential
Has put in place tools and controls to manage processes within a shared service environment
Strong excel skills essential
Knowledge and use of Microsoft automation tools preferred, such as SharePoint, Lists, Forms, PowerBI, Power Automate etc
