Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner- Tech is responsible for attracting and assessing the best talent for our Technical teams in India, utilising proactive sourcing methods to find the very best talent.

What will I be delivering?

  • Manage the end to end process for a portfolio of vacancies across our Techteams.
  • Source, screen, interview and shortlist internal and external candidates.
  • Develop, build and manager diverse tech talent pipelines.
  • Understand the nuances of the tech talent marketand develop awareness of effective regional sourcing channels.
  • Maintain a presence on social media and other digital channels to drive relevant talent and traffic to YouGov.
  • Work in collaboration with the regional Business leaders and the wider HR community to understand business challenges and areas for focus.
  • General administration such as keeping data up to date, refining job descriptions with hiring managers, advertising roles, delivering offers and candidate feedback etc.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge and experience

  • In house recruitment experience gained withina multi-national organisation/s is essential. You will have experience of working within a global talent acquisition team, or as part of a shared service centre for talent, liaising with stakeholders across the globe.
  • A strong understanding of the tech landscape, with experience hiring across Software Engineering, Data, Product etc.
  • Experience using tech job boards, Stack Overflow, GitHub, with a proven record of being able to headhunt passive candidates.
  • A solid understanding of technical development languages (Python, JavaScript, R etc), and the ability to understand the differences between technologies.
  • Experience recruiting in the tech, information services, or market research industry would be highly desirable.
  • Experience of external hiring is essential; A creative and true brand ambassador , with experience running successful ad campaigns and being able to measure their ROI to writing engaging copy for job adverts.

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience utilising a variety of recruitment tools, and keeps up to date with the latest talent attraction trends.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel.
  • Previous experience of applicant tracking systems would be desirable - we use SmartRecruiters.

  • Demonstrated communication skills and experience of stakeholder management.
  • Driven to provide a high quality hiring experience for both client and candidate.
  • Self-driven but also a highly effective team player whilst you will be confident working autonomously, you will be held to account for being collaborative and bring ideas to the table for the benefit of the wider team.
  • A keen eye for detail.
