  • Establish company technology vision, strategies, and plans for growth.
  • Ability to make executive decisions regarding company's technological needs
  • Experience in analysis, evaluation and implementation of IT systems and their specifications in all areas like computer systems hardware, software, networks, IT security, etc..
  • Ability to use current technological trends to build a business strategy
  • Experience in evaluating automation & analytical tools to enable the business in better decision making.
  • Ability to review the business procedures to strengthen efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Research any new technologies that may potentially increase company's competitive advantage
  • Build processes for data protection and quality assurance
  • Strong project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators and metrics
  • Keep track of IT budgets in order to update the performance of technology. Past experience in Public Sector Procurement Process.
  • Deep knowledge of Business Principles and understanding of business processes
  • Experience in running Captive IT operations in BFSI
  • Hands on experience in Techno Business function in a non-IT Company
  • Good knowledge in Primary Market

    • Experience in Product areas

  • Knowledge of workflow automation tools like Oracle eBusiness Suite (ERP) and other similar software.
  • Handling team of internal and outsource resources

    • Position Objective / Responsibilities

    • Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established business goals.
    • Evaluate the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
    • Analyze, Evaluate, Develop and implement new / existing technologies as per business requirements.
    • Evaluate & Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software.
    • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
    • Evaluate alternate solutions to improve efficiency of the existing ERP system.
    • Ensure system infrastructure is functioning and working efficiently
    • Handle change management/improvements in IT systems.
    • Design and execute techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency and reduce risks.
    • Control budget and report on expenditure.
    • Handle Asset Management during the entire life cycle.
    • Handle IT / IS audits and ensure closures of critical findings.
    • Ability to select Vendors and negotiate with Vendors for IT Services, procurement of IT Infrastructure and Other IT related Products.
    • Manage performance of vendors and ensure that they comply with all SLAs, etc.
    • Coordinate and provide guidance to IT managers and supervise computer technicians and other professionals.
    • Monitor day to day activities and processes and ensure smooth functioning of IT operations.
