DESCRIPTION

Interested in an opportunity to move fast and make a big impact? Amazon Onsite Content team is looking for a talented marketer to lead marketing programs that are fundamental to the fast growth of the business. The marketing manager will champion programs from ideation and planning to execution including user acquisition strategy for Amazon Content programs like video, feed and influencer content, on-and off-site initiatives to owned and paid traffic channels (search, display, social media), drive awareness, customer research, promotion campaigns and engagement strategy. If you are organized, analytical, detailed oriented, and can think big, this is a great role for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing program across channels, build experiences and offers customers will love and rave about, work with a cross-functional team of experts, and have the chance to learn and operate using Amazons cutting-edge machine-learning marketing engine.
The role is both strategic and operational, you will shape, invent, and bring to market new experiences and marketing initiatives for our customers, working cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution. You will be highly analytical, a self-starter, comfortable with numbers and ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.
A successful candidate must be able to work at the strategic level (using customer behavior to generate bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (optimizing campaigns with merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data and solving problems). This candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of the marketing funnel and possess great project management and influencing skills to work across multiple teams to achieve success.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute marketing and user acquisition strategies to drive long term profitable growth for Amazon Onsite Content CX programs
Strong knowledge of traffic channels - social media, display and search channel strategy for driving user acquisition and engagement
Provide insights to drive marketing strategies based on key metrics, historical data, and trend reporting.
Own production of creative assets in partnership with internal design teams or external agencies.
Flawlessly execute creative marketing programs, campaigns and promotions across various channels, including on-site merchandising, landing pages, email and more.
Ideate, plan, and execute marketing experiments and initiatives to increase discoverability online and offline.
Collect and analyze customer data to unlock differentiated insights.
Own reporting of key content and marketing metrics to the leadership team and broader organization.
Invent and simplify processes to scale marketing programs to a rapidly growing selection base.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in digital marketing, merchandising, or product marketing.
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or Communication.
Experience in effectively developing and implementing marketing plans that drive customer demand using a variety of Amazon marketing tools.
Proven track record of using quantitative and analytical skills to generate insights to inform strategy and measure performance of marketing programs.
Ability to coordinate fast-paced projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, legal and merchandising teams.
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Aptitude with data queries / leveraging data dashboards.
Experience with digital marketing channels such as email, digital display, SEO.
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for getting things done.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or Masters degree in marketing or product management field.
Aptitude with data queries / leveraging data dashboards.
Track record of managing and optimizing online traffic growth from multiple sources including, direct traffic, SEO, search marketing, banner ads, affiliates, social, influencers and email.
Proven experience working with marketing tools including email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
