This is a Project Manager role, reporting to the Group Manager in Business Area Electrification located in Bangalore and will be responsible for continuously creating new technology based innovation by contributing extensively to successful product releases for Electrification Business Area.

Your responsibilities

• Handling application development projects in electrical domain.
• Managing project resources and cost to ensure projects are performed to scope and within budget.
• Responsible for requirements gathering, analysis and estimation.
• Project planning, tracking, risk management, monitoring and controlling.
• Responsible for metrics / data collection on the project and status reporting to stake holders.
• Providing hands on guidance to the project teams as part of steering the projects forward.
• Responsible for decision making on project priorities, conflicts and requirements.
• Living ABBs core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech in Electrical /Electronics and communication / Electronics /Instrumentation.
• 10 to 12 years experience in software development (at least last 3 years in Project Management / Stake Holder Management role).
• Experience in handling products in electrical domain (SCADA, IEDs).
• Strong analytical, presentation, organizing and communication skills.
• Experienced in agile approaches for project management (Tools used MPP, TFS etc.).
• Technical knowledge in C# .NET and Cloud application development.
• Customer focus, multi-cultural awareness and strong networking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good customer interaction skills.
• Experience in handling projects with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
• Certification in project management (PMI) would be considered as an advantage.
