Job description Job description: We are a digital agency that is on the hunt for a Project Manager to join our team. In this role, You'll act as the main point of contact between the client and our development team, ensuring that client needs are understood, project requirements are well-defined, and timelines are met. You'll also play a crucial role in identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand our services within existing accounts you are managing. Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, and proactively addressing their needs related to website development. Collaborate with the development team to gather project requirements, create detailed project briefs, and ensure that projects are executed according to the agreed-upon scope, timeline, and budget. Serve as the main communication channel between the client and our internal team, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations. Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, such as website maintenance, performance optimization, or other relevant offerings, to maximize client value. Proactively address any issues that may arise during the project, finding solutions to challenges and ensuring a smooth project delivery. Keep clients informed about industry trends, best practices in website development, and how our services can help them achieve their business goals. Communicate project status and risks with internal and external stakeholders regularly Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, including scope creep, schedule delays, and budget overruns, while also identifying unique solutions. Manage client expectations and provide regular updates to the clients. Conduct quality assurance checks, ensuring the final product exceeds the client's requirements and the agency's standards. Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and feedback to help them improve their performance. Qualifications: 1+ years of project management experience in a digital agency or related field. A solid understanding of website development processes, technologies, and concepts is essential to effectively communicate with the development team and the client. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to manage client expectations and resolve any conflicts. Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met. Understanding of the client's industry and business needs to provide valuable insights and solutions. Proficiency in project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Jira, and a passion for exploring new and creative project management tools. Knowledge of design and development processes and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or InVision, with a passion for exploring new and innovative tools.
