Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive with 2 5 years of proven expertise in online bidding, proposal drafting, bid process management, and client acquisition from freelance portals such as Freelancer, Upwork (formerly Odesk/Elance), and Guru.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in lead generation, client communication, and project conversion across international markets like the US, UK, and Australia.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Generate business through online freelancing portals like Freelancer, Upwork, Guru, etc.
  • Setup and manage a professional online portfolio to attract potential clients.
  • Understand software development requirements including web and mobile application development.
  • Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with technical and business analysis teams to relay project requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and follow-ups.
  • Conduct project analysis and documentation aligned with client business goals.
  • Respond to RFI, RFQ, and RFP requests with tailored proposals and estimates.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure.
  • Communicate with global clients via Skype, VoIP, or phone calls.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close profitable deals.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience with platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Elance, and Guru.
  • Proficiency in proposal writing, bid analysis, and client engagement.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and web technologies.
  • Ability to write business-oriented proposals and technical documents.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, close deals, and generate revenue.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in project analysis, execution, and client requirement gathering.
  • Business writing and communication skills for crafting effective proposals.
  • Familiar with digital marketing and basic marketing concepts is a plus.
  • Capable of managing client accounts and ensuring satisfaction post-conversion.
