Job Description:
MySQL:
Expert knowledge of functions associated with the implementation and maintenance of MySQL DB (5.7 and MySQL8.0) and greater including security, back-up/restoration, logging, reporting and recovery procedures.
Strong database design and schema refactoring experience.
Proven ability with query tuning dramatically improving database performance.
Experience with MySQL replication, security, performance tuning/optimization (query optimization, index tuning, caching and buffer tuning).
Ability to write complex SQL queries to support the application team.
Experience with checking for data consistency between master and slaves.
Experience with enterprise performance and HA monitoring.
in Installation and Configuration of multiple instances and versions and components of MySQL server, including SQL reporting services, notification services, and analysis services.
Ad hoc query development for data fixes and reporting requests from business, security, and app dev partners.
Ongoing monitoring, analysis, and optimization of MySQL stored procedures and application queries.
Knowledge on NoSQL Technologies (Mongo database).
