- Make a risk assessment of company ssystem and data to prevent it from being accessed (viewedbyunauthorizedpersonnel,datacorrupted,ordatalost).
- Assignariskleveltoeachof thefollowingandrestrictaccesstonetworkdevicestoanapprovedlistofpersonnel:
- Corenetworkdevices
- LAN,WAN,NOCNetwork
- E-mailsystems,networkfileservers
- Networkprintservers
- Networkapplicationservers
- Dataapplicationservers
- Computers/Laptop
- Otherdevices (standalone printservers and network faxmachines)
- Ensureadequatesafeguardsforsystemandnetworkinfrastructuresmoothfunctioning.
- Analyze the utilization and performance ofthe ITapplications andproactivelysatisfytheuserrequirementswithouthamperingtheirdeliverables.
- Perform the testing and analysis of all systems and applicationcomponents including software,hardware,andtransmissionsystems.
- Analyze and suggest new controls to the system infrastructure to minimizeexternal and internalplausiblethreatsandimprovingperformance.
- Maintainingadequateaccesslevelsof internalandexternalpersonneltocriticalandsensitiveareas.
- Ensuretimelyprovidenceandremovalof useraccesstocompanyinformationasper needandapprovalbasis.
- Ensureendpointprotectionandmonitoringofexceptionstothesame.
- Ensuringpropersafeguardingofaccessbyimplementingstringentpasswordandotheraccesscontrols.
- ContributehighlevelofexpertiseinkeystrategictechnologiesrelatedtoNetwork.
- CollaboratewiththeITpartneron thedevelopmentofnetwork configuration requirements andnetworkinfrastructure&securityprocess developmentanddeploymentefforts.
