Job Summary

Job Description Lead Product Development


The Lead Product Development is responsible for leading a team of developers building a new product for cloud platforms. This role will report into Technical Architect and Delivery Manager, with matrix reporting to Director - Technology & Engineering.

Required Technical & Professional Expertise


  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Advanced Computer Programming knowledge of Java, python and other scripting.
  • Experience in Cloud technology Docker containers, Kubernetes, Other cloud technologies.
  • Good Knowledge in design patterns, socket programming, multithreading and IPC mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge in Web Service APIs (SOAP, REST), Hibernate and data exchange formats such as XML, JSON.
  • Previous experience in having worked on an offering on the cloud or having designed cloud solutions for clients.
  • Knowledge of open source, ability to work with open source projects.
  • Software problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience in using modern development tooling and source code control management tools
  • Experience in team handling/mentoring apart from individual technical contributions.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum product development experience.
  • Eagerness to learn and exploit new technologies and computer languages.
  • Proven communication skills.

Preferred Technical & Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years of strong Java development experience in Java, J2EE etc.
  • 3 years of development experience in python
  • 3 to 5 years of hands on cloud technology experience. Either in development or cloud solutioning.
  • Prior product development experience using Java / J2EE preferably on cloud, but at least in Unix / Linux.
  • Experience in working with open source.
