Drishti s State of the Art action recognition technology uses computer vision and artificial intelligence for manufacturing to digitize actions performed by humans on the assembly line, as they perform them.

Drishti is rapidly expanding its presence in India and is looking to add an exceptional Annotation Manager to further strengthen its team.

About this role

Seasoned Annotation expert with and project management leader with good analytical, people skills and proven leadership abilities spread across working for fast paced hyper-growing start-up. Hands on experience on Image and video annotation. Guide and assist the annotation team through development, pilot, and implementation stages of new annotation projects. Own the data annotation pipeline, ensuring quality of data annotation for the entire team as accurate data annotation is critical. Lead the annotation team which plays a pivotal role in creating data sets to train the Neural networks. Identify the areas of improvement which can increase the speed of the annotators without compromising the quality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze any bugs and errors found and document them for review. Define good metrics to track each project & define data annotation quality metrics, reports analysis of the same.
• Track multiple projects by priority and measure each project by metrics such as Quality and Productivity.
• Training the Annotation team in Annotating to serve as input for the NN team & Create Annotated datasets
• Manpower planning and assign weekly Annotation tasks and Setting tasks duration for new customer stations to help annotators to know their daily targets. Escalate issues that cannot be resolved by the team.
• Preparing and sending productivity and quality reports.
• Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives.
• Work with functional managers to obtain necessary resources to support the team s requirements.
• Coordinate meetings with the project manager and functional management to discuss project impediments, needed resources, or issues/delays in completing the task.
• Provide guidance to the team based on management direction.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years experience in Data Annotation
• Overview of Machine learning is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (like Excel) and familiarity with Atlassian software (Jira)

Skills Required

• Should be capable to work in Teams and should take individual ownership of deliverables. Passionate about data, efficiency, accuracy towards data annotation work and attention to detail is a must have.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both in a team environment & independently.
