Job Summary
  • Prior experience as an ethnographer and/or in business development at an innovation lab, growth accelerator/incubator, innovation group within a larger organization, early-stage startup, and/or design and innovation firm.
  • A Master s of Business Administration with a focus on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Strategy, and/or Marketing, or a Master s degree in Customer Experience or Design Thinking, or commensurate work experience.
  • A Bachelor s degree in an engineering or technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.
  • Executive presence and technical depth to function as a mentor/advisor and deliver training across Tektronix globally.
  • Experience building positive relationships with peers and senior leaders to ensure open communication and delivery of impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and consistently seek opportunities to innovate and re-engineer processes to improve Fortive s ability to innovate in the best way.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow junior team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business challenges using VOC and experimentation, with a deep connection to the consumer as well as a grounding in market, business and technical environments.
