Job Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking to hire an experienced Content Writer who can develop engaging and high- quality content across diverse media that speaks to a variety of personas. The selected candidate will be a part of the Marketing Team and will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating marketing-oriented content by liaising closely with multiple internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create content for brochures, presentations, hand-outs, scripts and other marketing collaterals that can be used by the internal sales teams to have more engaged conversations with prospects.
  • Produce Search Engine Optimized content for various digital platforms to increase traffic and boost ranking.
  • Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs, white papers, press releases, and other emerging formats. Also, actively manage and promote our blog.
  • Perform secondary research to gather useful information and create content that is innovative and original.
  • Create and manage a content calendar.
  • Occasionally engage in creating content for the UI of mobile applications.
  • Create engaging scripts for explainer videos.
  • Actively engage in editing the content produced by other teams/departments.
  • Conduct rigorous quality checks on every piece of content to develop grammatically correct content.
  • Ensure all-around consistency in the style, fonts, and images used, as well as the overall tone of the content.

Desired Skills:

  • 1-3 years experience as a content writer.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce diverse types of content around the same subject matter, based on the communication medium.
  • Any experience of writing in the domains of technology and cybersecurity, and experience of producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), would be an advantage.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to transform technical information into compelling, easy-to-understand content.
  • Comfortable working under aggressive timelines. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed in a fast-paced work environment.
  • A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Original writing samples of past work. Samples from published blogs, journals and websites will be appreciated.
