Vice President, Operations, Coding Job in Iks Health

Job Description: The Vice President of Coding for IKS Care will be responsible for ensuring that all operations of IKSCoding meet or exceed client requirements and are operationally efficient. Since IKS has recently ventured intocoding services, it is critical that we quickly ramp to scale and establish industry wide best practices across the codingservices. The Vice President of Coding will be responsible for designing, setting up and managing a processexcellence/quality framework for IKS Care that ensures that our coders deliver high quality of work. This positionmay have several Managers of Coding Quality reporting to him/her, each managing the process excellence/qualityfunction delivery for one client (to whom we may provide multiple services), and/or one particular service (which wemay provide to multiple clients).The successful candidates should: Create and manage operational frameworks to deliver high quality of work in field of medical coding. Create six sigma quality frameworks to drive process excellence for IKS Coding in a clinical context usingDMAIC, lean six sigma, or other process suitable quality methodologies Work with delivery leaders to launch and lead six sigma quality projects across IKS Coding Set up and manage transactional quality frameworks in a clinical context including quality assessmentchecklists (for quality assurance leaders), identify CTQ quality metrics, create periodic quality reports Work with delivery and training functions to create feedback loops from quality assessment to training andoperations management Familiarity with clinical documentation coding Be able to manage large teams Ability to work with teams across continents Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business unit goals Extremely high energy team player with a burning desire to succeed in fast paced environment and rapidlyevolving market High degree of integrity , work ethic and analytical abilities Track record of delivering high quality services Relationship with key decision makers in target market Significant travel between the US and IndiaDesired Experience & Qualifications: Certified coder 15+ years of work experience, including experience in coding, coding audits, workflow assessments etc. Strong expertise on ICD-9, ICD -10, and HCC coding Ability to provide supervision on quality reviews to the delivery team. Team player who can work with multi-geography cross-functional teams Experience with healthcare IT (implementation, customization or support for EHR, population managementtools, HIE, registry, etc.) is desirable but not essential
