Roles and responsibilities:

Own the releases of Android and iOS Apps

Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally

Evolve formal QA processes, ensure test team is using industry-accepted best practices in testing.

Understanding and analyzing business requirements and functionality of the system in the Agile framework

Creation of Test Objectives and Test scenarios based on the requirement

Put out test plan after discussions with the test team and have it reviewed

Identify the testing effort required by calculating the sizing needed for the given release and plan the required effort for the same

Design, implement, enhance and maintain test cases corresponding to various product areas.

During the testing cycle, monitor the test progress by constantly assessing the work assigned to each of the resources and re-balance or re-allocate them as required.

Publish timely status to the stakeholders & management and instill confidence about the work being done.

Participates in root cause analysis for defects and provides process improvement suggestions to eliminate future occurrences of similar defects

Required Skills:

Experiencewith testing of Android and iOS mobile applications

Good leadership, management and communication skills

Strong understanding of Agile frameworks for quality product delivery

API testing knowledge is a must

Experience:

5+ years of experience in Manual testing

Minimum2years of hands-on experiencein Mobile App testing

Minimum 2 years ofexperience of leading the team
