Principal Engineer Job in Netskope

Responsibilities Evaluate and utilize emerging technologies to build high performance, reliable and scalable enterprise solutions. Develop effective architecture solutions that satisfy immediate project requirements while delivering a coherent, reusable, reliable and phased architecture to help the business grow and change ensuring alignment with strategic vision. Work with other engineering teams and product management to understand and define requirements. Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and requirements for software development. Training and overseeing the activities of the members of the development team. Looking for problems within software systems and resolving the issues. Provide easy-to-use analytics of usage patterns, anticipate capacity issues, and advise long term planning. Write modular and clean code. Test driven development. Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 15 + years of relevant work experience Strong understanding of Object Oriented design principles Programming expertise in Python, Java or GoLang Expert understanding of distributed systems, data structures and algorithms Proven experience in the industry on complex Data Platforms and Solutions using Technologies like Kafka, K8s, MySql and other open source databases. Proven success in building scalable cloud solutions Experience in architecture and design of cloud security software is a plus A strong communicator and collaborator Experience with unit testing and integration testing BSCS or equivalent required, MS strongly preferred
