Automation Manager Job in Placement Planet

1. Plan and manage control system & Electrical Designs / Engineering and related activities for all the products.
2. Define control system specifications in consultation with product Engineering Groups. Design the systems, prepare detail documentation & BOM for manufacturing / purchasing / implementing the systems, assisting in procuring devises / systems, assist in Trials / providing the systems, prepare documentation for product manuals and assure Design integrity.
3. The above work is to be done principally in collaboration with Product Engineering Groups and in consultation with H.O.D.
4. Develop validation tests / procedures for the above. Formulate controls for implementation / monitoring of the testing / validation processes.
5. Participate in stage-wise and final product validation processes. Participate with Production / Mfg. for product validation.
6. Assist Product Engineer in release of CBOM along with wiring Diagrams, pneumatic circuit Diagrams, P.I. Diagrams & control logic approved by G.M. (Operation).
7. Suggest ways to enhance product performance and implement approved enhancements.
8. Evaluate in consultation with Product Engineer, proposed changes in existing product and implement approved changes when it relates to control and related systems.
9. When asked by G.M. (Operation) participate in Company product Group Management team deliberations and help evolve new products ,product enhancements, product specification & competitive product profiles.
10.Plan & manage work flow of the system & control group members and devise programs for their professional development.
11.Manager Design & Development Dept. and carry out additional assignments assigned by him.
12.Any additional duties/ Responsibilities assigned by the Management.
