Team Leader - 0320ch-63x Job in Relx Group Plc

1. Manage a team of 8-10 Journal Managers and Journal Administrators responsible for the editorial and production process of a cluster of, where possible, market-facing journals.
2. Manage 0.5 FTE workload of a Journal Manager with assigned journals
3. On the team level manage assigned resources such that: a/ assigned Editorial-Production site journal articles are handled on a first-in-first-out basis guaranteeing a continuous flow of material to customers, suppliers and Science Direct and b/assigned Editorial-Production site journal articles are handled throughout the editorial and production processes in a timely manner and are compiled into issues, cost effectively, to agreed quality standards, budget and schedules, so as to contribute to attaining Editorial-Production and Publishing objectives
4. Liaise between Editorial-Production Journals (EPJ), Editors, Societies, and Publishing on a title-specific and PMG-specific levels to facilitate implementation of journal publication strategies
5. Identify training needs and facilitate Mentor group meetings and activities
6. Perform project management responsibilities and specialized EP site representation duties as assigned

Bachelor or Master degree of any discipline
Minimum 5+ years of work experience. People management experience is required
Fresh graduates or less than 5 years experience need not apply
Experience in working with software/ systems/applications is preferred.
