Solutions Manager Job in Tarana Wireless

Job Responsibilities: Manage/Lead the solutions team based in Pune and cater to customer requirements in the IST time zone. Assign work, provide trainings, expand the team, set priorities, report status to management and assess program risks. Become a subject matter expert on Tarana s product and service solutions Work with engineering, sales as well as third party vendors to design, implement and support turn-key solutions Provide technical support to customers as well as internal teams on configuration and deployment of Tarana technology Drive customer focused strategy, derive metrics and strive for continuous improvement in processes and quality. Lead customer field trials, market trials, pilot deployments as well as commercial network deployments for our customers Give customer presentations and support sales and marketing activities with a variety of wireless operator customers Required Skills & Experience: BTech/BE or MS/MTech in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or other scientific discipline is a must Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in technical customer facing roles such as System Engineer or Solution Engineering Minimum of 4 years of experience managing and leading teams. In-depth knowledge of OFDM based wireless systems like LTE or WLAN/Wifi is a must AND In-depth knowledge of IP routing/switching, L2/L3 networking, DHCP, DNS, TCP/UDP protocols, and general networking concepts Experience in working with Internet Service Providers in Asia/Africa/Australia Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills: Advanced networking knowledge is a plus Understanding of advanced wireless technologies like smart-antenna radios, interference cancelation etc. is a plus Understanding of RF/microwave network design, link budget analysis is a plus Exposure to cloud native applications on AWS, GCP etc is a plus
