Job Summary
Mandatory
- Create and maintain the technical manual of the products, with an illustration of features.
- Create and maintain API documentation of products and offers
- Create and maintain SDK documentation for products
- Generate and maintain SDK documentation up to date, on public code repositories
- Contribute to technical writeups, newsletters, and blogs about products and features
- Work with tools like Gitbook, WordPress or such publishing tools
- Familiarity with Swagger or such documentation is preferred.
- Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources ( developers, architects, team leads and testers) to document new or changing product functionality
- Write, format, edit and proof read procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users.
- Maintain with almost no spelling and grammatical errors
- Own the planning, scheduling and tracking of technical documents to meet a product release date and client deliverables
- Maintain accuracy and consistency between product and its documentation at all times
- Must have a good ability to create infographics like diagrams, workflows, graphs, etc
- Look for any automation tools
- German language knowledge would be a plus
Preferred
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in English, Communication or Journalism
- 4 plus years hands on experience as a Tech Writer for an IT Product based company
- Ability to analyse or synthesize complex technical content
- Expert proficiency in English and ability to write clearly and succinctly for multiple audiences
- Track record of effective collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Ability and desire to innovate and improve upon current processes
