Job Overview

The Implementation Executive with participate in customer implementation initiatives, supporting the Implementation Manager taking responsible for aspects of the project delivery including responsibility for client configuration on the APEX platform. As an Implementation Executive you will learn (over time) all functional aspects of an implementation initiative. As part of this role, you will also help manage change requests own smaller non-technical projects across our existing client base. The Implementation Executive role will be liaising externally with partners and collaborate closely with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting implementation managers and customers in delivery of initiatives
  • Learning on the job to build personal knowledge of an array of functional capabilities (moving from beginner to expert)
  • Configuration on the Client Apex platform in both test and production
  • Managing small, less technical projects
  • Defining project requirements at a high level
  • Following pre-defined processes to deliver change requests
  • Manage client expectations and liaise with technical teams for technical support
  • Performing pavement testing where necessary
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Raising and manage tasks, issues or change requests as they arise using JIRA
  • Ensuring all documentation is clear, concise and understood by Clients and Colleagues
  • Peer reviewing documentation to provide support and quality assessment
  • Regular progress calls scheduled with clients and partners
  • Assisting with continuous process improvement internally and contributing to CLIENT internal Wiki (Confluence)

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is willing to learn and has a keen interest in building a career in payments
  • Curious whilst also being detailed orientated and willing to build up knowledge of a wide variety of functional capabilities
  • Has had exposure to financial services, some experience in Payments / Cards would be a bonus
  • Has an interest in the current trends taking place withing the payments industry
  • A technical background would be ideal
  • Exposure to requirement documentation
  • Ability to follow a defined process in a structured and methodical manner
  • Is keen to develop further and increase knowledge
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Has a proactive / can do approach
  • Fosters collaboration and has a positive attitude
  • Takes responsibility to further own learning and development
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Exposure to project management / project planning would be desirable
