Job Summary

Overview:

Cvent Marketing s Global Demand Center (GDC) team is seeking a modern marketer to join as a coordinator of our Marketing Operation steam. This role will ensure the successful management and execution of marketing programs that drive awareness and demand to our prospective and existing customer base.

In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with campaign owners, project managers, and execution teams(including digital marketing, creative, web marketing, email marketing, database marketing), located worldwide, to bring campaigns to life, driving the timely execution of campaign assets and launch calendars. Your success relies on your ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels to align business requirements, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively communicate across the entire campaign lifecycle.

As part of the Global Demand Center team you will have exposure to all sides of the business, becoming an expert on our martech stack and marketing and sales processes. You will also have significant involvement in defining and recommending changes to processes that drive efficiency and scale across the organization, lead to strong team alignment, and ultimately enhance the prospect and customer experience. Insight that you gain from running programs end-to-end will be invaluable in evolving all efforts going forward.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Own, manage and drive marketing projects through planning, requirement gathering and implementation leveraging our project management system.
  • Lead and coordinate necessary decisions across all cross functional teams preparing for project go-live. The scope of this work includes gaining alignment with marketing team/management on expected impacts, implementation strategy, and associated execution.
  • Develop project plans that document who, how, and by when critical activities will be completed.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, GDC and other departments to execute common deliverables and gather or provide input to these other groups, align systems and processes to support prospect and customer communications plan across the entire lifecycle
  • Share best practices, process improvements, and new technology functionality from within the GDC and shared services team with the Global marketing team and ensure these are adopted and implemented into their plans.
  • Work with our analytics group to track, analyze and optimize the impact of systems and processes in support of marketing goals by aligning data and technology with growth/ROI drivers
  • Ensure campaigns are instrumented with appropriate inbound, outbound, and reporting tools, with the opportunity to evaluate the current technology mix for long-term support of our customer experience
  • Develop or modify documentation, reporting, and other elements that require updating

What You Need for this Position:

  • Minimum 5-7years of total marketing experience in B2B technology marketing, inbound and outbound digital marketing, demand generation, communications or public relations.
  • Demonstrated complex project management experience, the ability to establish, communicate, and adhere to timelines, and to work with multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working on project management and reporting tools such as Clarizen, Jira, Wrike, Asana, Excel, Visio etc.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines to drive value add to programs and process
  • Strong problem solving, global communication, and operational expertise
  • Must possess working knowledge of Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, CRM, Database, and other Marketing Technologies.
  • Six Sigma or related training and experience a plus
  • Education: BA/BS required in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
