Responsibilities:

Application design, development and maintenance

• Work with customers to understand and document requirements using business language, create mock ups and usable user interfaces
• Design, develop and deploy applications per agreed upon functional and technical specifications
• Participate in various phases of testing cycle to ensure highest quality deliverable
• Business technical analysis
• Understand and contribute to identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues
• Experienced in working in a rapid application development environment
• Recommend business solutions that will help satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually by exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients
• Assist with training and write understandable user documentation for the applications
• Define, plan and manage releases of application updates.
• Act as technical expert for identified applications, and share knowledge as appropriate.
• Automate business processes by leveraging the right tools and procedures
• Handle continuous change management for SharePoint and OneDrive for Business.

• Worked on SharePoint 2013/2016 and SharePoint Online, and also on Azure instances
• Worked on customizations using Apps Model for SharePoint (SharePoint hosted Apps and Provider hosted Apps)
• Worked on deployment of apps on Azure and on SharePoint servers.
• Branding customizations using SharePoint Designer/SharePoint Design Manager
• Worked on Custom web parts, knowledge of SP 2013 new web parts like content search web part
• Knowledge of Client side object model/Client side JavaScript object model/ Server side object model and REST APIs
• Worked on SharePoint OOTB Workflows and developed Nintex/AgilePoint workflows
• Knowledge on coding standards and best practices while identifying solutions
• Understanding of SharePoint online development tools/settings familiarity
• Enterprise deployment experience in complex heterogeneous environments
• .Net knowledge for building the Apps either using C# / VB.Net
• Basic PowerShell knowledge
• Basic Knowledge on SharePoint Site administration
• Basic knowledge of service applications like Managed meta data, search, BCS etc
• Basic knowledge on HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, WCF, WPF etc.

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science engineering or MCA degree from a reputed university.
• Knowledge on .Net and SQL
• Relevant certifications will be a major plus
• Knowledge on Office 365 Dev Patterns & practices is an added advantage
• Worked on organization change management
