Job/Role Description

• Experience : 10 to 20 years
• Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer or Analyst or Scientist
• Expertise in data modelling
• Building data models using SSAS or Azure Analysis Services or Power BI
• Hands-on with DAX (MDX optional)
• Expertise in designing visualizations using with Power BI
• Designing reports against cloud and on-prem data sources
• Good knowledge of working with enterprise gateway, data refreshes scheduled through service, or through REST APIs ,
• Power BI dataflows
• Experience with other data visualization tools like tableau, SSRS, excel reporting etc
• Experience with C# development web and services
• Knowledge or experience in working with NoSQL databases
• Knowledge or experience in developing machine learning model using Python (or R)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Should be able to speak confidently throughout the conversation.

Primary Skills (Must have)

• Must have driven data governance initiative for at least two organizations
• Data Governance SME, should effectively engage organization s key stakeholders and management team to define charter for data governance framework, tailored for organization
• Drive data governance initiative at organization level, by engaging right people at right level
• Define framework and toolkit to enable data governance implementation
• Work closely with governance council and help them define standards and practices to be followed at organization level
• Must have worked on several projects building solutions for data pipelines, data warehousing, data modelling on azure data platform
• Expertise with working with relational databases ( SQL Server) and extensive experience with SQL programming
  Programming and optimizing DB objects views, stored Procs, functions
• Expertise working with ADF pipeline or Databricks to build data movement pipelines from relational or structured or unstructured data from data lake to data warehouse on Azure
• Creating pipelines and integrations of multiple data sources using azure data factory and other integration technologies
• Extending ADF s capability using custom C# code or Databricks, data lake, data warehouse on Azure
• Designing data lake storage layer (landing or staging, raw, trusted or curated zones)
