Job Summary
Role Profile Title: Training Manager Definition: The Training Manager designs, implements, and evaluates training programs to align with organizational strategies and improve employee skills, productivity, and performance. This role involves collaborating across departments to ensure business objectives are met while fostering employee development. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Training Needs Identification: Assess current and future training needs via job analysis, career paths, performance appraisals, and manager consultations. Identify areas for skill enhancement and employee development. 2. Program Design and Implementation: Create tailored training programs to address identified needs. Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions. Utilize diverse training methods (e.g., mentoring, workshops, e-learning, simulations). 3. Monitoring and Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness, success, and ROI of training programs. Report findings periodically. Resolve specific challenges and customize training as needed. 4. Budget and Resources Management: Manage training budgets. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver training programs efficiently. 5. Staying Updated: Maintain an understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices. Provide ongoing opportunities for employee development. Certifications and Education Certifications: Preferred: Domain Process Training Certification, Master Trainer Certification, role-specific industry certifications. Education: Minimum: Bachelor s degree in education, human resources, or a related field. Preferred: Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM). Knowledge and Skills Must-Have: Knowledge of learning and development best practices. Proven track record in training program development and management. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Familiarity with modern training methods (e-learning, simulations, coaching, etc.). Strategic alignment of training with business goals. Good to Have: Advanced research, content design, and development skills. Experience handling Learning Management System (LMS) activities.
