Job Summary


Priority for Business Developer is to assist their companies acquire new customers and sell additional products or services to existing ones; this means the role is a crucial one for any business with the ambition to expand or the necessity to diversify its clientele.

  • A good command of account profiling and a proven ability to navigate to key contacts.
  • A proven ability to identify business pains, objectives, and related impacts on a prospects organisation.
  • You will be able to hold a business conversation with a variety of contact types within an organisation (including senior / board level contacts).
  • You will be able to articulate customer propositions in terms of the advantages a prospect will gain and linking these as benefits to expressed business challenges.
  • You will be able to structure your working month to enable you to hit a set of agreed targets and to maintain your input activity.
  • Based on your customer proposition you will be able to select and prioritize a group of target accounts into an active pool.
  • Your selection will be made on sound business logic which is aligned to your customers objectives.
  • Problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident engaging with all levels of management.
  • Solid communication skills, IT and business orientated.
  • A basic understanding of the sales process.
